In a move that underscores the rapidly evolving global distribution strategies of the Japanese animation industry, the highly anticipated TV anime adaptation of Kagurabachi has officially been slated for broadcast in April 2027. To pave the way for what is shaping up to be one of the most aggressive international promotional campaigns in recent memory, production partners Shochiku and CyberAgent have unveiled the second leg of the "Kagurabachi Anime World Tour." This ambitious promotional roadshow is designed to bypass traditional domestic-first marketing pipelines, bringing exclusive early footage directly to fans across five continents.
Following a highly successful kickoff at Anime Expo in Los Angeles, the second phase of the tour will touch down in Johannesburg, South Africa, for Comic Con Africa on September 27, 2026, before heading to Melbourne, Australia, for PAX Aus on October 11, 2026. Attendees at both conventions will be treated to an exclusive screening of the first 20 minutes of the anime’s premiere episode, alongside special panel presentations featuring lead production staff, including producer Kenta Kaneki.
