Directed by Takushi Koide in his directorial debut, the fantasy series is set 200 years after a tragic mermaid princess named Lara dissolved into foam in Lake Biwa. The narrative follows her reincarnation as she embarks on a quest to discover the elusive concept of "true love" to prevent herself from vanishing once more.
